A poetic message from the Universe.
How many shades of color are there on the moon?
It seems gray to me.
Craters like holes deep and terrifying.
What is lurking beneath this sphere?
Aliens don’t seem to enter there,
At least not in this dimension.
Do you wonder what is deeper than the surface?
I don’t because I stared death in the eye.
I looked at the gray texture of the skin,
I admit, I cried.
Your moon is not mine you see.
For you never met me.
You never touched my empty space.
I don’t even breathe.
Funny isn’t it?
That I am speaking to you from afar.
I hold everything in place, but not on the moon.
I avoid the void it is.
Nothing holds you back there.
Nothing is what it seems.
I am everywhere, but there.
I am in-between.
No this is not upside-down.
But my craters may lead you there.
The light that you see shining in the sky.
That is my soul.
The moonlight is me.
I am the universe.
I am eternal.
The moonlit is my gift to you mere mortals.
Look up at me and realize your reflection.
Feel my presence and power.
This is your Universe speaking…listen.
