A poem of inner thoughts, self-doubt, and learning to live for yourself.
The sharpest knife is one of thinking.
Pressure points in your mind.
Do this, not that.
Make sure you don’t fail.
Pressure is like a finger on a water hose.
Drips of liquid escape until it bursts.
That is the power of a negative mind.
It drenches you in the water of doubt.
Stand up straight!
Don’t eat that cake!
No one will ever love you.
Say yes to that,
Never say no!
Put the needs of the many before yourself.
This fallacy in thinking gets you drowned.
The pressure builds until you break,
In silence alone; Or in front of others loudly.
Stop!
Your water is about to burst!
The mind can’t take it — it hurts.
No one ever thinks of themselves first.
The needs of the one matter.
People survive when they thrive.
Surviving starts internally.
You hold the water hose to your life.
Let it flow freely,
Turn that hose and that knife into…
Living your life.
